I guess I could just rent a storage unit but I really hate the idea of spending money on spaces like that. I need to just double the size of my house. I need another 3k sq ft. Yeah. I can't live without a decorations/holiday room in my house anymore. This is uncivilized.

I'm happy I didn't grow up in this political-party-as-an-identity era. For most of us in the 90s, politics felt mundane, obligatory, and background noise, not a lifestyle or identity; it didn’t define your moral worth or social circle. the circus/rage elements of politics didn’t exist at mass scale.

I've never understood why any parent would get angry when their child asks a question or doesn't know something. Even if the parent doesn't know themselves, you're teaching your kid a valuable lesson by saying that you don't know and then showing them how to get information & learn.

Anyone else remember holidays feeling like they were super far apart as a kid? Like it felt like multiple months or completely different seasons between halloween, thanksgiving, and christmas. I'm just now processing as an adult that they're one month apart. huh. has it always been like this? xD
