this is awful. all violence and threats of violence are unacceptable.

it is true that violence and threats are perpetrated by people on the left end of the spectrum.

it is also true that most violence and threats are perpetrated by people on the right end of the spectrum.

It’s a stacked bar chart. The bar segments are coded to correspond to political orientation. Over time the largest segment is “right”. In 2025 YTD, though (and only that year it seems), the total number is pretty small, and that “right” segment is very small while the “left” segment is larger.
