of treating (some) humans & the rest of life as expendable—letting fossil fuel (& deforestation, & animal agriculture) pollution devastate them. If everyone had stopped doing that when it became clear how dire the consequences were, then "climate change" would have largely taken care of itself.

9) We talked, for instance, about how in Texas batteries have helped tame crazy power price spikes at times of grid stress, and helped reliability. (We had crazy prices spikes in NY during the June heatwave.) The choice of Texas as an example was deliberate.
