My lab is lucky to have the support from the Hopkins Dept of Anesthesiology and Crit Care Med that allowed us to acquire this surgical microscope- we are now able to do complex microvascular surgery! Also fortunate to have collaborators (pictured) from the JH Dept of Neurosurg #PedsAnesSky #AnSky

Remimazolam vs propofol in children

Median time to loss of consciousness during induction was 45 s (remimazolam) & 25 s (propofol).

There were no significant differences for awakening & tracheal extubation time or time to transfer out of PACU.

Consider vertical head movement from mouth opening to tracheal tube insertion.
