We’ve only been in Amsterdam for a few hours and I’m amazed at the bicycle culture here. All casual riders, no helmets, regular clothing, no racing outfits, lots of families riding together.

Half an egg carton with treats in the divots. Paper bags with a couple holes and treats inside. Laser pointers. Ribbon/fabric on a wand. Collapsible tunnels. A couple of pieces of dried pasta to chase on the laminate floor (rigatoni works!). The occasional fly that sneaks in.

I personally feel apple cinnamon anything is, and always has been, significantly better than pumpkin spice anything. That said, you are on to something with the amaretto cookie.

I tried to pay my car tax multiple times but kept getting errors without any explanation. In a final attempt, I switched browsers, and it worked just fine. I guess the @alexandriavagov.bsky.social payment site doesn't like Firefox?

But also how to defend yourself: how to document. What unions do. What your rights are.
