Ha da quick commission yesterday to draw a gangly critter.
A four legged bird, with antlers and wings of smoke and shadows. A mane of octopus tentacles runs down its back like a horse comb.

Hey y'all! I'm officially announcing my new Webcomic

Chicken Legs!
a young witch, Mariska Morevna, striking it out on her own trying to prove herself to her imposing family
chickenlegs.co

Launching OCT 31
comic cover with the title "Chicken Legs" at the top of the page imposed over the lower half of a very large chicken standing on a field. A young unimpressed girl stands at the chickens feet. She glares up at the camera. She's white with brown curly hair pulled back from her face in a messy ponytail and small pomp. She is wearing a dark purple dress with a light blue belt and white collared shirt underneath and holding a green potion in a round flask in her clinched fist. She has wooden legs with large round knees and is wearing black boots with socks.

Stumbled on an old treasure map I was working on for Thing 12 Games. I really need to find the original working file...
An old treasure map depicting an ocean and islands. The ocean is a side shot underwater, filled with fish, kraken and beasts. The land masses throw shadows down into the water like they're physical objects in the water scene.

Meanest insult I've heard in a while was, "You look like you'd drop common items."

Don't remember where I saw it, but goddamn what a burn.

Swordtember, Day 26: Candy. Today's prompt was supposed to be Harpy, but I already did a bird design with Owl, so someone who had asked for a. Candy sword got their wish.
A gummie, candy sword. The blade looks like a cocktail skewer, the handle is made of sugar-crusted gumdrops, and the scabbard is made from a licorice whip.

Yeah I could never tell if it was a nose or their head was just extremely malformed. I'm leaning towards the latter option myself.

Swordtember, Day 25: Bubble
A bubble wand shaped like a sword. The cross guard is made from bottles of Mr. Bub, and a long trail of bubbles are looping lazily around the blade.

Because @toxikoal.bsky.social asked, yeah, I have been drawing the Noita weirdos. I've got almost every critter from the first floor done, but here's a preview of the gunner:
A blue line sketch of the Gunner enemy from the game Noita. He's got his signature shotgun at the ready.

I did actually. I'll probably switch back to that as my drawing project once Swordtember is done.

In better news, this year's harvest in a particular six by six plot is going to be a banger!

Thanks again for all the love. Here's a random selection of drawings that never got used for one reason or another.
A helmeted figure, with robotic arms and blade legs, running very fast. Their weighted scarf trails behind them, unable to slow them down despite how heavy it is. A black and white image of a dungeon room with a colossal door in the background. It's framed by two cartoonishly oversized columns that get wider as they reach up to the ceiling. The keyhole to open the door is huge, and the frame for it is shaped like an abstract crown. A black and white sketch of seven figures in a tight circle engaged in a furtive conversation. Two of them are passing a note to one another discreetly behind the back of another. A red sketch of several different undead. Left to right, one is huge and has three heads, one is fat with stitches up its side and is belching a plume of noxious gas skyward, one is on fire and probably getting a hankering for some ribs, one is a completely normal walking corpse, and the last is crawling across the ground as it's entrails drag behind it.
Under it all is the text, "That Game Wherein Contains Zombies."

Swordtember, Day 24: Venom
A long, old style syringe. There is a whole scorpion inside the vial of liquid.

Swordtember, Day 20 & 21: Vapor and Ring.
An industrial sword being pulled from a scabbard that looks like a mix of power tools. Steam is pouring out of the gap as the blade is removed.

Swordtember, Day 20: Birthday
A pirate saber spearing up through a birthday cake. A slice of cake is falling off on the sharp end of the blade. It's my birthday.

Swordtember, Day 18: Beetle
A sword made with beetle shell and mandibles. The blade is designed to look like a rhino beetle's horn.

This sword challenge has been extremely good for me. I haven't drawn this regularly since I had a day job that I de-stressed at by drawing post-it-note doodles.
A concrete SQR Bot with an electric firefly build. A pair of interlinked concrete SQR Bots where one is assembled as a high powered turret and the other is its scope/spotter. A concrete SQR Bot that's been set up as a huge door with a keypad for a mouth. A concrete SQR Bot with an antigravity ring, acts as a cargo lifter maybe?
