My old cat looked like a regular short-hair but he had like a double layer of the really fine dense underfur like a long-hair would have. We called him ''chinchilla fur' lol

He was a haven for fleas and they were so hard to find with a comb but thankfully he loved being groomed.

A few people still qualify for free NHS covid jabs, but you have to have a condition that actively causes immunosuppression.

So about 90% of the people who qualified for free vaccinations before now can no longer get them.

I'm really torn about getting a Covid vax.

I could probably stretch to pay the £100 for a private vaccine, it would be a struggle but it's doable.

But I cannot fucking stand the idea of going private and filling the pockets of whoever influenced the committee that took away our NHS vaccinations.

Oh and one of the guys who was there with the band happened to end up watching the gig from right next to me and at one point he went off somewhere and came back with a Hatari t-shirt and sticker and just gave them to me, and I kind of feel like the Hatari crutch was the motivator there.

I could stand up on the main floor without worrying about getting jostled and falling, cos everyone could see my mobility aid and gave me space. Lots of people complimented me on it.

And then Hatari came out and they had el-wired some of their costumes!

I did buy my purple crutches as a pair so the sensible thing to do would be to keep one the right height for normal shoes and the other the right height for big fuckoff boots.

But I went to a Hatari gig in 2022 and I Hatari-ed the other stick for it, and it's still covered in el-wire and tape.

She had blood under her nails but they didn't bother to do any tests on it or properly investigate it, so presumably they didn't check staff or patients for scratch marks at the time and now it would be too late.

Oh this is some real cover up bullshit!

A patient who raised concerns about how patients were treated was found in her locked room on the ward with a large bruise on her back and FOUR socks stuffed down her throat.

But cos she's mental its obviously self-inflicted.

Bean is PISSED cos I got him with a flea treatment while he was eating treats and I'm pretty sure I rubbed it all in enough but he's been trying to lick his shoulders and I'm so worried cos the last time he managed to lick the flea treatment off it gave him epic diarrhoea.

This has gone down *badly* with some in govt, amid push to reform the ECHR from the inside.
Shabana Mahmood especially is said to take a
"dim view" of arguments made and her allies say issue of trans rights after the Supreme Court's judgement is "beyond reproach".
Govt source says "it doesn't help sustain public confidence in the European Convention when the Council is seen to intervene in domestic politics and national security".

I went to collect my meds and my hip was giving me SO MUCH more aggro than usual and I couldn't work it out.

Then I realised - I broke out my big fuckoff boots for autumn and when I do that I need to make my stick longer!

Also pictured is the first-pancake ring.

I did the first one with an 8mm width but turning it right-side out turned out to be impossible. So the rest are being done with a 16mm width and a hell of a lot of struggling to turn them right-side-out.

Today I've been trying to make the red rings that go at the top of the chevron.

I've watched all 4 episodes of Jonestown: Terror in the Jungle, just under 3 hours of media, and I've managed to get the edges of two of the rings sewn and those two pieces turned right-side-out ready to border stitch.
