it's never the crazy weird conspiracy theory weapons. they are poisoning you with toxins they are well-documented to have. they are beating you with ordinary sticks and shooting you with ordinary guns

the only conspiracy is how they gained legal immunity to do this
My group was able to recover a spent canister from a green smoke grenade in Minneapolis. We now confirm with physical evidence that it was a green signaling grenade.

Please don't spread rumors about hexachloroethane or nerve agents.

I have no idea why but out of nowhere I just remembered a weird flash game from about 20 years ago where you had to add various ingredients to a cocktail and then try to fine tune it based on the bartender's reaction when he tried it.

Apparently a little while back I was trying to play Skycards and Bean climbed up onto my chest wanting to settle down there and mom was like "oh no, you're going to have to stop playing the game for five minutes(!)"

So I held the phone up over my head with one hand and held The Bean with the other.

I wonder which Simpsons episode has the most clips that have become well-known memes?

The film festival one has at least three.

The U.S. cover for Omar El Akkad's book does not give the whole title:

One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.

I've been saying for years - true crime shows are just chock full of cops telling on themselves!

Whether they're comfortably using phrases like "a male black" in interviews, describing female victims as young as 5 or 6 as "gorgeous, beautiful" or making excuses for evidence being lost.
NEW VIDEO!!!

We take a deep dive into True Crime creators and answer the question --

Are True Crime stories about incompetent cops radicalizing normies???

So before I was born my dad redid the bathroom and he placed two giant mirrors on opposite walls of the bathroom, so that you did indeed get this effect.

I grew up with it so to me it was just normal, but it did freak out a few of my friends when they came to visit.
Am I the only one that thinks this cartoon by Charles Addams (the guy who created the Addams family) is legitimately creepy?

142 years ago today in 1884, John Coulter died after falling drunk down stairs at his friends house. After his death, it was discovered that he was a trans man. He'd worked in the Belfast docks for decades and had been married for 30 years, his wife only leaving him because of his alcohol problem.

I remember when author Terry Deary, who has sold 38 million books, spoke in favour of closing libraries at his local council meeting.

I spent like three years buying as many of his books as possible from charity shops and donating them to various libraries and take-a-book-leave-a-book schemes.
Also crucially we get paid when libraries buy our books! There is nothing to be sorry about ever in borrowing a fave author’s books from a library! It is one of the few “everybody wins” situations in life!
Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.
