Today is officially the 5th anniversary of when (I think) I started writing! These two characters of mine are probably the most important to me, which is why I will still not reveal their names until some other day. #oc #originalcharacter #ocart

I've met people who aren't even aware coral are animals, which is kind of sad, because corals are extremely fascinating!

I thought I’d try drawing one of my characters with a bit of added challenge… turns out I’m bad at drawing actually /j

My original character Tony, who is a mutant anglerfish, drawn from my memory with my left (non-dominant) hand and with my eyes closed.
Only the leftmost drawing is colored with those colors also picked from memory.

Before I left to college I made some models of these things in Blender, so expect me to post that when I remember to.

A picture of character designs parodying the game I am working on (Derrick and the DeepSea DJ) but if it had minimal effort put into it and was a complete joke, similar to some titles within the “mascot horror” sub-genre. Every character here except the “nameless protagonist” is present in the actual game, and Derrick is the only design and name unchanged from the original.

Nameless protagonist:
(a floating pair of forearms from a white person, holding a blue tentacle)
- And faceless
- No personality
Manny: (Parody of Manoela, a man-o-war)
- A Jellyfish
Draggy Sluggy: (Parody of Gladys, a blue sea dragon)
- I hate it
Shork: (Parody of Cooke, a cookie-cutter shark)
- Uh he’s short
Crabcake: (Parody of Akari, a spider crab)
- How can you take this seriously.
- Only has 6 limbs
Ivor Fish: (Parody of Don, an oarfish)
- Is certainly a fish
Big Squid: (Parody of Sadaf, a colossal squid)
- Only has 4 limbs
Angel Butter: (Parody of Lane, a sea angel)
- Why.
Angy Fish: (Parody of Tony, an anglerfish)
- Looks vaguely like Alastor from Hazbin Hotel
Derrick:
- Demoted from the main character to the kid that went missing some time ago.
- Where he went? idk ask Game Theory.
