A render of my own creature design. It has a large multi-colored eye (red, purple, orange) and a fully black body with big arms, no legs, and wings. On its body there is many much smaller red eyes. The same entity viewed from a different angle. It is leaning forward holding itself up with one of it's arms and looking at the camera. Other details more visible is a snake-like body with red-and blue back spikes, and red horns above and below it's eye. Another render of the same entity, but without the black covering it. It has white skin with veins colored red and blue, an exposed blue heart on its back, and an orange mouth with some skin still stretching over it.

I feel like at this point I’m doing anything but making the actual character model, but genuinely, modelling this skeleton felt extremely helpful for understanding how the character should move and such! So I believe this will be worthwhile.

A 3D modelled skeleton of a mutated anglerfish character of my own creation. There is a blue silhouette of what the character looks like over this skeleton and a white and pink circle indicating the eye placement. Notable differences from an actual anglerfish skeleton are the placement of dorsal fins being closer to the head, a much longer lure, a gaps between bones around the jaw, and the whole skeleton having a green tint.

Today is officially the 5th anniversary of when (I think) I started writing! These two characters of mine are probably the most important to me, which is why I will still not reveal their names until some other day. #oc #originalcharacter #ocart
