Got the first rejection of October, but they offered an alternative submission route for the story (and an option for simultaneous submission) - gonna look at the sheet and sort this tomorrow.

Meanwhile 2 new stories worked on in last 2 days.

you can see two birds, one on the left has sunlight falling on it, and is a little more golden in color. the one on the right, slightly smaller, has darker feathers. the birds manage to camouflage very well with the tree, and easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for and where. a female peafowl with small peachicks around her, all running towards the deep forest - there is dry brown leaves all around.

Baked some bread. Made cheese potato sammich. #lunch 🍜

Was a little lazy to get my stand mixer out, so kneaded this one by hand. 🍞

(My impostor syndrome is petty, loud, and, relentless. So, it's comforting knowing that some things always turn out well, if I am true to the process.)
