Sorry to hear that, hope all goes well

Yes but it’s frustrating! It feels like I’m not the person I was yesterday. I always throw myself into everything when I have energy & ignore the consequences. I never learn!

So glad everything’s gone well for your aunt. I hope you can rest up a bit now!
Forgot about #MSFriday again, it’s been a feet up sort of day after a day full of bounce & energy yesterday 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm doing some carving into them to get a good effect with the glazes

I jumped in & bought myself a cheap pottery wheel which actually doesn't do a bad job!
Playing with mugs & handles....

I agree & think it's probably designed for a hanging light fitting. If the trees were the right way up the fitting would be at the top of the shade, so not meant for standing lamp.

Sounds like a good plan. I was full time when first diagnosed & dropped a day when things got difficult. It made a big difference. I still had to give up completely a couple of years later when I had a long time off for a big flare up, but you just have to go with it. I'm so much better now.

Can you reduce work or other commitments at all? If you can give yourself a bit more time & head space it won’t feel so difficult. It takes time & mental effort to live well with MS but just making the effort helps with feeling more positive & in control.

Managed to avoid being out in it!
We’re camped on the hillside nr Makers Heights so we’ve had it all battering against the van. Great view out across the sea when the weather allows.

Getting blown away over the other side of Plymouth!
Delicious lunch at the Devonport Inn today & a long slow climb back up to the campsite…

Worth eating there, pan roasted cod on an Italian chickpea stew.
There's a lot of bell tents for camping too. I was getting Kate Aldridge vibes.....

Sounds good! We're cycling downhill from Makers heights to Cawsand tomorrow & then using a lot of e-bike battery to get back up the hill!
We lunched at the Canteen at Makers heights today, can definitely recommend if you haven't tried it already.

Hope you can have a chilled weekend & put your feet up!

We're down in your part of the world again this weekend. Campervanning on the Rame peninsula. New area for us, feels quite remote from other areas.

Our old clothes always carry stories. It's hard to let them go without passing some of that on.
I recently spotted a dress I made maybe 40yrs ago in the back of the wardrobe - it's beautifully made, good quality fabric & would still look good on, so it's staying. I'd better wear it though!

I think I'd pay for shots if I wasn't eligible too.

I've got mine in a couple of weeks at local pharmacy. Don't get an invite despite being eligible due to kesimpta. Just book online & tell them I'm on a 'mab' when I get there.

Hope all goes well!
I only have a 10min cycle for mine but still turn up way too early 🤣

It's hard to stop dwelling on the 'what ifs..'
I'm fairly stable but we can never live without expecting it to all change tomorrow

..the increase in availability of DMTs & getting them to patients but there wasn’t a coordinated approach.
I’ve been involved with the group as part of their patient engagement, it’s very interesting.

@denpru-qm.bsky.social (Dementia & neurodegeneration policy research unit) has recently been looking at variation in MS services inc what’s offered & how they’re structured. Hopefully this will help inform policy going forwards. Apparently services were set up quickly & a bit randomly to cope with…

I love your #MSFriday musings, it always gives me something to think about & makes me look at the way I handle my own MS.
For me it’s the unpredictability- I’m unusually energetic this week but will I wake up tomorrow feeling a wreck & also did I do too much with the energy I had?

Best flash mob I’ve seen, brightened up my lunchtime!

Very happy to get back to pottery classes this week.
Straight back on the wheel & a new technique to try - double walled pots!
