Day 979 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinyl I've purchased a few too many records this last week- this may be my favourite, the Tompkins Square reissue of Dillard Chandler's Folkways set, complete with the six-page set of notes & lyrics so appreciated in Folkways albums. Ballad singing, this.

Day 11689 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge Some of last week's charity shop finds; I suspect when I get over to the shelf, I'll find I already have the Lyle Lovett, but the rest are definitely new to me. Haven't listened to the Dylan yet; we'll see. But Jann?! Who gets rid of Jann Arden CDs?

Day 1168 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge Classic country found at the charity shop. Lacy J on CD and over at #recordsontheshelf, too. Found over the summer & used on the radio show a few weeks back. The Jones is as expected, but he is in decent voice. Lacy J. is very good.

Day 978 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinyl I purchased only 4 records on my Curmudgeon visit Sunday, but was impressed by the quality of the records on offer as well as the store's atmosphere- clean, roomy, friendly- more a den than store. 101 & Whyte #YEG. Worth a visit. Rare Lacy J caught.
