Being major players in Hydaelyn's faction likely means they were friends with Azem regardless, but there's something about them being our Azem's Words that I just plain like lol.

I'm very flattered! It does make a good deal of sense that they'd be the Words of Azem. Especially if you have an Azem that supported Hydaelyn's plan. I like the idea of them being friends and colleagues, especially because they can likely see whose soul is in the WoL.

But not totally blown up! Based on the information Oschon gives us I can still claim that Rhalgr, Azemya, Nald'Thal, and Oschon were Azem's Words and I can round em out by throwing the ancients of Krile, Arenvald, Y'sayle, and Minfillia into that mix though they were sundered along with Azem himself

I enjoyed the entire thing immensely. Will now be resuming MSQ until 6.5 when the last Grand Endeavor quest unlocks

really makes me feel useful when the fight just starts without me lol

the group that was able to get everyone to wait stood out: someone called out that sprouts were watching cutscenes and to use the ready check. A+ to whoever that was.

my run through myths part 2 was the first alliance raid in i don't know how long where they waited for me to finish my cutscene.

i keep getting comments from people glad they don't have to do crystal tower again but can't let the sprout who made that happen for you watch the cutscenes.

Dunno if lore I haven't seen contradicts this but I like the idea of Shiva and Thordan's followers standing with them cause they felt its the right thing to do.

We have cruel heavensward knights and ones who are very kind but I can see how they all thought Thordan's course would be the greater good

Ysayle has the Echo, and might have communed with Hydaelyn so I don't think the Ascians have anything to do with her. Thordan is secretly working against them and I don't think they had any clue about him using the Eyes to become a primal.

Since we don't outright see it, and in EW we're told that tempering is the result of an unnecessary extra part of the summoning magic the Ascians specifically included to further thier own purposes when they taught it, its *possible* that people who turn themselves into primals can't/don't temper.

His home and family on the Isles. I get alot of angst mileage out of his decision to willingly give that up to go answer the hero's call.

There was absolutely no refusal of the call in his hero's journey and I really like to play around with what that means for him.

Its a bit before they started really adding dialogue choices but a "1. kneel, 2. stay standing" would've been a good way for people to think about how they characterize thier wol early on.

One of my slight adjustments to canon here is Yoshio looking around at all the other people kneeling and quickly getting down on his knees in a panic before being told. "Rise, ser. I would speak to our champion face to face."

He is. You wouldn't think the WoL would be someone like that and most assume he isn't, but he is. Total strangers, anyone. If someone is scared or in distress and he thinks it'll help them then he'll want to do it.

Hi everyone! o/ Would your OC hug someone in distress if they knew that person wanted/needed it? That could be a mourning parent/orphan, grieving spouse, etc but only someone met in passing -- no named figures and no political gains here!

Or would they be unable to, and why?

Oh, he's tagging along if they're this sure they need him. But just to waddle about in the background, give advice, help teach them to fight, *maybe* pitch in if really needed in a pinch. He wants to pass on the torch, and even retired, he still can't turn down a good adventure!

The way Menphina is talking about traveling, its one of your duties to travel around and meet people and peer into thier hearts you say, almost as if you're gathering firsthand information on the wider world. hmm.
