This evening's offering; a little excerpt of us discussing the Beetlejuice sequel. Goes without saying that we have to compare it with the original movie. Did you see this film? How do you think it measured up to the 1988 comedy #horror classic? 🎬

#Watched Hard Boiled (1992)

DIR: John Woo

FIRST VIEWING

▫️Action was good, but plot was too basic. Pretty fun tho, ngl.
▫️Over the top, yes, but expected from a J. Woo film.
▫️There aren't enough shootouts with babies these days.

3/5 ⭐

Books to film 📚=🎞️

The Martian (2011) by Andy Weir was adapted to film (2015) by Ridley Scott. Changes are made for the film shifting to more action, less science info, & not making use of flashbacks as the novel does. Despite this, generally viewed as a faithful adaptation. 🚀👨‍🚀🥔
