I Am Legend (1954) by Richard Matheson was adapted as The Last Man on Earth (1964), The Omega Man (1971) & in 2007. The films differ from the book, changing the creatures into mutants/zombies with no real minds. All the films avoid the book's bleaker end. 🐕🦠🧟
