The future king to my citadel, still a kid, is rotting in his room because he saw his dad, brother, and best friend die. And his uncle comes to the fortress as undead to destroy them. The captain to my dwarven soldiers has no arms and her son holds bad intentions but will ascend to take her place.

How do I explain to people Dwarf Fortress is cozy gaming to me.

OH STRAY CHILDREN DROPPED YESTERDAY WHILE I WAS AT A WORK PARTY, WHAT A TIME TO BE A GAMER we will be playing.

The new UI is fine but I will miss the little gear turning in the loading screen SO MUCH. That was the sound of my young teen years.
