Played all of what’s currently available of Dispatch tonight.

What an extremely charming game, and one that melds so well with old Telltale games that I miss so much 😭 I really love all the characters and the humor. Just all around a great experience!

Also genuinely some absolute stellar writing happening here; Mona Awad is excellent at weaving tender beauty alongside the viscerally upsetting, and We Love You, Bunny really ups the ante.

Actually a perfect Halloween book since the vast majority takes place on Halloween.

Already really loved Bunny, and this pseudo-sequel really ramps up on the “what the fuck” vibes.

Went to a local coffee shop that had a comics shop attached under the same owners this morning.

If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples

I will never move my reading goal; even one book a month is commendable, and sometimes work/other hobbies get in the way of being able to sit down and read. I don't want to feel pressured over something that is supposed to bring me joy
