oh and on the topic of children's rights and 'protections', in alberta in canada, where they are trying to ban queer and trans books, children of migrant workers do not have the right to education. they can't go to school because children do not have human rights in canada- albertaworkers.org/ed4all

personal shortcoming or simply blamed on parents or one thing or another. cuba's version of juvie is not incarceration or slave labour like in the west. it is active rehabilitation, teaching life skills, community engagement, and they are allowed to go home and see their families. nearly everywhere
