“Forest bathing” (a Japanese practice known as Shinrin-yoku) exposes us to chemicals called phytoncides. These compounds protect trees from insects and bacteria, but when we inhale them, they have amazing benefits for our health and well-being.

Rorschach Test...
Mountains in reflection are like a kind of Rorschach test. I just see calmness now. When I was a kid, the mountains made me feel uneasy, anxious. They were so big. They represented time. I understand time more now. I'm less afraid of it.

In black and white, shadows and light, create such an alluring sight. Though the wind beaten coastal trees, atop an eroding cliffside, the rising sun radiates. The Pacific Ocean shines as bright as the star that kisses it. A feeling of hope, through this disarming beauty, washes over me in moments like these.
