Republicans love to wrap themselves in the flag and recite the Pledge but it is to the Republic and the Constitution.

Dictators rarely tolerate an armed populace, free courts, or any check they cannot bend. A hollowed-out Constitution is not a framework of rights—it is a mask over raw power.

Shout out to the Naked Bikeride who today ran hundreds of naked people directly through the line of federal officers and effectively blocked them from assaulting demonstrators. Being naked on a bike goes on the list of effective tactics if you get at least 500 of them and the city loves you.

If average HealthCare.gov plan premiums double in a few months due to Republican inaction, 4 million people will lose health insurance.

Without health coverage, many will get sicker or skip care entirely.
