I was wondering when that scene would show itself to you. Totally upsetting.

I’ve seen that movie once. Never again.
A jury of my peers? 12 fat old white men, with only 30 seconds of attention span before being distracted by a shiny object?
A jury of my peers? 12 old white guys with bladder infections?
a jury of my peers? 12 cheese enjoyers?
This reflects the way I try to set scenes: the most important thing is to set the immediate space around the character/POV. everything else can be lightly sketched as needed, or when plot demands.

But the personal bubble needs to feel oh so real.
Would not surprise me at all, if that was an AI designed model that someone 3d printed for him to show off.
Oh! Thank you. Imma use that!
Took a screenshot of this. To remind me I need to make this happen. I love lemon treats.
Heh. I was gonna tag you for this. Reminds me of you. A helpful, positivity shark.
I’ve been fiddling with this spare Muncie 4sp transmission. It’s kinda fun. Like adult legos.

Eventually, it’s going into the coupe under the cover behind it. So I will have to rebuild the trans at some point.

I’m looking forward to it.
My AI seems broken today
I requested creativity
But got nothing but em dashes, ellipsis
And half baked facts instead
All said with earnest sincerity
Tears in its electronic eyes

Is it really intelligence
Though artificial?

Or is it just a clanker
Drunk on water and electricity

Im bored. Let’s go for a drive while it’s sunny out.
I’ve been meaning to reread Moon is a Harsh Mistress. The world being what it is today, and it deals with revolution, and artificial intelligence; I’m hoping it hits a good spot still.

It’s been 25 years since I last read it.
I’m 55, and from upper Midwest USA, if that matters for your data. :)
If someone says 6, then I’d be there no earlier than 5 minutes before. And no later than 6.

They might have a meal timed to be done at 6 or a little after. It’s super rude to show up late.
Got a photo with both of the USCGC Mackinaw’s. Old and new.
If only there was a descriptive word for someone doing this.

Chronicle: You, and other MSM have failed us.
You forgot to check the off switch again
You performed many clicks and pokes
All to no recorded avail
The machinery was not recording
You were never here
It never occurred

Proof of existence
Presence in the matrix
Something for the AI databases to steal
As they educate themselves to destroy us all
Pedantry is its own curse on humanity.

Is being technically correct important? Sure!

But read the room.
Crap. I just realized how old that makes me sound.

An established pattern of years for something to occur, should mean at least three times.

People can do math. lol.
I feel much the same way? But we do buy a new vehicle every 12 to 15 years.

We just keep it long enough to get most of the use out of it.
I try to fill my void with Hot Wheels, Field Notes, and car parts.

It doesn’t work any better though.

The aching void is a black hole
Which crushes everything that enters
Into a microscopic point
Occupying no space

Maw only gaping wider, hungrier
Huge fan of Jury Nullification over here.

Unless someone is reading this to gauge my suitability as a juror. In which case: The letter of the law is what I will go by, always.

Also: Boots. I love to lick them.
Can’t be worse, and it fits the neo-Luddite agenda.
