Hey y'all! I am Fairweather, and I make singleplayer levels for Quake, Team Fortress 2 and Doom!

Oh damn, thanks for putting me on to the Static Rifle. I don't know how it works in practice, but having to hit shots mid RJ or Bhop would be sick for an arena shooter weapon.

That being said, the most iconic textures from E1 / Start.bsp are brown metal, brown bricks, brown bricks again, tan bricks, and brown rock so I can see how folks got the idea lmao

That's a misconception tbh. I don't think there's much more brown in the Q1 palette vs any other retro fps palette.
