Besides the obvious reasons for disliking Gen AI, here’s a personal one: I’m scared it’s going to ruin my enjoyment of Game UI.
Art used to inspire me - now my first thought is to question whether it’s real or not. If that ever happens with Game UI, it would break my heart.

Are there actually many books out there like Raising the Bar that aren't 'just' concept art collections, but have loads of level and game design sketches and thoughts? Ideally from the earlier days of FPS design. Was RTB kinda rare in that regard?

Phew, new Urban Decay update, finally. These broken windows took a lot of work, but I think they were worth it. There's now 940 bloody textures in this thing, so close to the big 1000.
