There are only 8 days to October, and the NINeS deadline! Submit your finest ideas.
I was scared when I saw the title of the post. It seems easy to misunderstand the point. But also I am super excited to see how eBPF evolves to support more applications with better performance and more flexibility

For me, this is a new angle to look at the problem. Thanks for sharing it. I wish you the best.

Last Thursday I had an awesome opportunity to share my work about eBPF CPU cache efficiency on the ACM student competition stage along six other awesome presentations. I would like to thank the organizers and people who attended session and listened to the talks.

NINeS @nines-conference.org is the first conference specifically formulated to combat stale ideas, reviewer fatigue, and shallow program committees. By stimulating the community's collective creative pathways, NINeS will help restore energy, imagination, and genuine dialogue in networking research.
I see... I looked up gitpod after watching the video and was confused by their website

We are getting closer to the NINeS deadline (October 1).

Watch Scott talk about why you should submit your work to NINeS!
Randomly saw this video from @lichess.org on their open source contribution workflow and tooling. It's next level of awesomeness :)

Next up @apanda
talks about Why Nines? No cats this time because they were all busy working on their NINeS papers.
Congratulations Gianni
I'm not sure if NLP is relevant, or not. But what I remember from python's doctest is that it checks some unittest embeded into docstring.

It would be nice if there was a test that flagged undocumented assumptions, abstraction, control flow, ...
With advancements in NLP maybe software eng. can finally write test cases for their documentations so that poorly documented part of the code does not pass the test.

Cloudlab has been an enabler for me. Eternally grateful for its existence
My research group at the University of Utah runs CloudLab. I agree: CloudLab is the type of thing that needs to be in the world more! Thank you to the "Fork Around and Find Out" team for mentioning the work we do.

Learn more about CloudLab: cloudlab.us
:/ ... there are still lots to do

Here is a good reason to submit your paper to CoNEXT 2026: I will be the PC chair :)
who should you talk to if you want a new eBPF hook in the kernel? Is there a documention for adding one? The macro magic and random verifier details poping out of no where is disheartening
Imagining the troubles in running each of the kernel bypass systems compated in the paper, I say it's a heroic job
