Actually Deep Blue was considered Ai and that was back in the 80's. If memory serves it was adapted to take the Touring Test but it didn't do very well. Being able to recognize patterns isn't "intelligence" but it's arguably the first step and that did come from chess.
People think you can assault someone by just touching them but there's has to be some sort of threat or fear for your safety.(bumping someone is not a threat) I'm wondering how the prosecution is going to prove a guy in full tactical was afraid of a sandwich.
I've been saying this for years. The US has hit brick wall with Globalization, there's nothing left to plunder. That's why the attacks by Trump on Greenland, Canada, Panama,Venezuela etc. are a serious threat. There's not much left the US can exploit financially so the next step is war. ie. Russia
Exactly. And some how Americans just don't see it. If the US needs Tesla to the tune of half a trillion dollars then the public should own it, not Musk. Eminent domain exists under Capitalism and yet it's probably the most defining principle of Socialism I can think of.
Well at least psychopathic tendencies. A lot of them are getting off on the abuse being inflicted on immigrants. Especially Trump, he's encouraging it.

Yah I always thought it was weird they came all this way to live in the same town. Aside from Toronto and Mississauga Southern Ontario is basically all town names from the UK. And then "Ontario" is a Iroquois name and they're east coast. Presumably a settler from Ontario went west and brought it.
