"It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes." (Eccl 7:18 NIV) The world is too polarized. We need to find a middle road. I may earn a commission on purchases made through my links.

A restaurant lowering prices in Denver? Crazy in this economy, I hope it works. However, from the description of the product, sounds like food you only eat when you're drunk. And I'm never drunk, so...

I hear that the economy is strong and people are spending, which makes me feel like a slacker for struggling. This article explains how I’m not alone. I’m fortunate not to be unemployed, but it’s challenging to keep out of increasing debt. #GoodForWho
Wealthy Americans Are Spending. People With Less Are Struggling.
Data show a resilient economy. But that largely reflects spending by the rich, while others pull back amid high prices and a weakening labor market.

My four C’s of resistance: Community, Cooperation, Coordination, and Communication.

Tyranny would separate us and have us not talking to each other, but we hold the power.

The Childe asked what inflation meant the other day

I did my best to lay it out a simple version of supply/demand, global supply chains, taxes, economic pressures, international trade, the pandemic.

They thought about it for awhile & said “IDK sounds to me like companies just want more money.”

I wonder if America will acquiesce, or resist.

If we resist, I wonder if it'll be peaceful, or violent.

When soldiers are being sent to American cities, it feels like violence is coming. #unity
“Even the most brutal tyrant does not have enough soldiers and police officers to compel everyone to obey at gunpoint. Authoritarian regimes need civil society … to acquiesce to their rule.”

Now, I do like Fall Festival activities. I love #Fall--the colors, the weather, wearing sweaters, coming together for Thanksgiving--to me it's all very social and inviting.

My #duality: I prefer a Hallmark movie life while gravitating toward the horrors of action for my entertainment.
I don’t like Halloween. It’s a celebration of death, but I want to celebrate #life! I think in some cultures it may be a celebration of life by remembering the dead, but that’s not what I see going on. Skeletons, beheadings, zombies... yeah no.
“Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!” Luke 12:24 NIV

Consider the thirsty land, always wanting more! (Prov 30:15-16)

People are more like thirsty land, never satisfied.
I’m happy because the students are leaving the bus with a smile, but I’m certain all the adults anywhere nearby are quite annoyed because I allow them to do this every day. Sorry, fellas.

I’m a school bus driver and one of my students asked to beep the horn one day. I told him he’d have to wait until he gets to his stop, but his stop has 25 to 35 students getting off. So now I have a couple dozen students beeping the horn on their way out.
People know that government contracts get awarded because of bribery, but Homan was literally caught with his hand in the cookie jar. There needs to be a call to #ReleaseTheTape.

My six-year-old keeps wanting to chase our aunt’s chickens and hold them, like that giant snowman cartoon who hugged people too tight. “I love you! Love me back!”

I don’t think we ever outgrow that. #Love
I had to take a flight this weekend to a family event. It made me feel guilty because so many people involved in my travels aren’t getting paid.

Both the Left and Right blame the other for the shutdown, but *all* need to compromise. #unity #RadicalCenter
Love is more than a feeling. I believe it’s character, which can be developed. I choose what I want to be like and work to become that. If the love collapses like an illusion, then it was just a passing feeling and self-deceptive, but it doesn’t have to always be that way.

I like how the news will be like “while the President claiming Portland was ruled by a giant skeleton named Mr Nibbles is not strictly true, it does speak to the anxiety of many Americans”

Ouch! I don’t know baseball, but I think I see what you’re saying.
We can’t fight Trump’s authoritarian propaganda by arguing for the Left’s ideas; that leads to more escalating conflict.
We need to raise a flag of unity, and we must expose Trump's military action in American cities for what it is—an end to democracy. There has to be a middle ground. #RadicalCenter
Raoul Peck believes most of our military are not in agreement with sending the military into American cities. Sadly, I think he’s wrong. I think many of our federal officers and military members have fallen for the “2 + 2 = 5” #propaganda. This is scary.
