Can't find the tweets now, because I closed my Twitter account, but some self-described socialists and Bernie supporters gleefully shared tweets by a guy who claimed to have given Pete a swirly in high school, and bragged about how they would have done the same (but not because he was gay).
As a fellow child-free middle-aged person, I completely agree. I benefit from living in a world populated by adults who as children were brought up by attentive parents, who can be helped at the margin by a child tax credit.
