I think @rickhasen.bsky.social is correct that we need a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to vote, if only to keep democracy away from the claws of a judicial body that has consistently let undemocratic and authoritarian regimes exclude Americans from their governance.

On the other side there were a lot of privileged white peoples who had never had anyone challenge their freedom to do anything. They totally freaked out when people said that you had to stay indoors, isolate, wear mask, vaccinate, etc. They then went full on to destroy the systems that limited them.

I don’t trust them. It’s too easy to make one that goes to something malicious, so I never use them if I have an option. My company’s marketing person loves them.
