Reintroduction time? Former grad student, gamer, composer, geek. I generally post about about Linux and video games. I desperately need to finish some music. (I used to use csound and LISP, but am teaching myself supercollider.) I think 12-tone equal temperament is boring.

Pretty sad hearing about one of your schools having to lay off/retire a ton of faculty. Like the place is completely different--much less world music (where it was a powerhouse for that), not as experimental. Like it's fading away.
