It's sweet but not too sweet, and has the texture of a soft, heavy banana bread, without the banana.

I use water soluble (mix able) oil paints. It's kind of in between in terms of drying, but no harsh chemicals.

Mount Logan painting for my master class. Using the grid method to transfer from photo to wood canvas. Light underpainting since this will be mostly snow and clouds. 3x4'.

Needed a break from the heavy painting of my sister's death.

Soulmass cookies (biscuits).

These are like scones, but sweet and with mixed spice. Pretty good. We used a pumpkin cutter, for the season.

Alright, contracts have been signed, cheque is in the mail, and travel plans are starting to go to Lavraria Lello in Portugal. They are committed to 800 copies of my book.

BUT, I just got off the phone with them and now their affiliate stores want another 1000 copies!

Yes, the term my therapist used is 'lean into it'.

Creating our motivation to do the things outside our norm, or routines, or boundaries.

I could easily just lie in bed and let the darkness in, but I've learned that I have to just do things. I've found new things I love because of that.

...or see different perspectives, we cannot grasp empathy. We cannot see the world differently from our pathology.

Our mental H becomes a self-reinforcing belief system.

If you are struggling to see the world outside your illness, I recommend engaging with a therapist. Do the work. See different.

...is to guide you to a new way of thinking.

When were in our pathology, our thinking can become rigid, distorted, even harmful. Without talking and learning new and better ways of perceiving the world around us, we become stuck in that way of thinking.

When we cannot see the world differently...

#worldmentalhealthday is today.

I've been in therapy for almost 14 years now. I don't need to see her regularly anymore, only when I need her.

She has been instrumental for my recovery. We're good friends now.

What's important is that psychologists do not tell you what to think, their purpose...
