October 1970 UFO unveiled their long-played debut, UFO 1, which interwined a series of intriguing band compositions with covers.
A year later, in October 1971, they released UFO 2: Flying ft the title track, which was one of the longest tracks recorded in rock music.

Remembering #BrynMerrick (12 Oct 1958–12 Sep 2015) who was a member of Cardiff-based #punk band #Victimize He later joined #thedamned (1983-1989) replacing Paul Gray.He last played with the band at a show at Cardiff Point where #theDamned had 4 bassists on stage at the same time.
