the way i have been reading vanitas is by buying the english volumes as they come out bc 1. it is 100% worth owning and i refer back to it for paneling inspo all the time and 2. i think it is good to enjoy physical media

the bit that stuck with aisling is that he is extremely AGGRESSIVE about helping people (in the way he thinks is 'help') whether they want him to or not, but that's something i think vanitas and noe actually have in common (they just have different ideas of how to 'help')

a very small bit of aisling lore is that one of the characters i was drawing inspiration for him from initially was actually vanitas (case study of, not kh). he wound up being significantly more like noe though because i'm also dumb as heck and you improv what you don't know HAHA

i'm glad i'm not the only one who feels this long sufferingly about the oc they created and designed to look exactly the way they are even though it takes so goddamn long to draw them LOL

caught up on the case study of vanitas and apart from this manga continuing to rock SEVERELY in the back of one of these volumes some character sketches are included and mochijun wrote next to vanitas 'drawing him... takes... time......" and nothing has ever been more relatable
