It’s not being an idiot, the interception is not something you just forget about. I never said he threw a duck or anything like that. But I promise you when you think of SB 49 no one thinks about Lockett or Baldwin. They think “why did you throw the ball” and Russ is a central figure in that. Legacy

That… I mean let’s just address one thing “almost won the second” is doing so much weight lifting considering he threw the most consequential interception in NFL history. He probably still is a HOFer but.. his legacy is marked by one throw. No one thought of him as the reason the Seahawks won in 13

Yeah I kinda figured you were referring to that one. I just look at how the only thing I consistently come away with from that game is a monumental collapse by the defense and a horrible punt on that 4th and 3. I wished he woulda have gone for it… but I wish the 80 sack defense would have done more

The offense put up 35 points, the defense was so legendarily bad in the second half… if you wanna say anything maybe he shoulda instructed Gannon to blitz 9 guys on that last drive and try and get the ball back
