In like 4 different WIPs, I am on a sex scene, but I have forgotten how sex works apparently, so they're all stalling out. I was doing so well on daily writing, too.

write without an outline or anything more than a very vague plot idea, and then it's hard to figure out where to go next. I am attempting to avoid that by spending more time thinking before I publish anything. I also feel like I have to balance plotting and actual writing.

I have found that as I write more fanfic, I get slightly more ambitious with my plots. Less 'they fall in love and fuck' or just 'they fuck' but more plot arc with events less focused on romance. And it's HARD. It's one of the reasons I haven't picked up some of my old threads back up. I started to

I swear I am trying to make good choices and go to sleep like a responsible adult!! But I keep having thoughts about the Sand Siblings and then I have to kick my feet and scream into my pillow, and all progress I made towards being asleep is lost.

We really don't deserve dogs, but I am so glad we have them.

Kessel-my-Vessel knows she gets treats right before I lay down for the night, so she often waits and watches me closely as I start to wind down so she knows when it is Treat Time. Occasionally she gets distracted from that mission by the cat and I have to suggest that she "do a go-to-bed."
