That's true. You have a lot more solutions than just becoming invincible at will, I didn't think about that.

PV for example is one of my favorite fights and a community favorite but I also hated how much of the fight was either just jumping or dashing for i frames. (I also rly like that silksong from what ive seen got rid of i frame stuff bc the design around that from a boss pov was just bad)

Not easy, just very fluid and manageable. You just have to get a good read on their threat range, tells, movements, and it just feels flawless as you fight each boss at the end and just holy shit I love it so much

Its like genuinely beautiful how YOU, as a player, begin to move alongside the boss. It feels so good dude.

Act 3 bosses almost feel impossibly fast sometimes but the sheer volume of bosses you've fought until that point have already taught you how to handle that kind of speed, to where it feels

HK you got a lot less punished for not reading bosses until like pure vessel and NKG, then you had to get good at dancing around them

REALLY early on silksong makes damn sure you don't wail on bosses, so you just begin mastering dodging and counterattacking between more and more rapid attacks and

the clawz comp is outstanding.

Brella as both painter and skirmisher for two fighting weps and a fake backliner gun make too much sense. The other comp is just fine, I don't think it has the same synergy as the clawz comp.

I really hope it's nothing worse, but from my perspective, I really think he needs to take time off if things are stressful for him outside SPL.

I need to say,

I remember Erito wanting to take a break before 3rd kits dropped, due to things getting stressful IRL if I'm not mistaken.

I think him coming back added additional stress he may not have been prepared to handle. Given his influence, the stress of coming back is probably greater too

also extra note, I think it's comical an entire technology was created to usurp an industry that the market doesn't even value that much, and have said technology's entire purpose to be making art for free while hoping to make gazillions from it. None of this shit feels well thought out.

I was originally gonna say "the market" is willing to give it credit for, and maybe I'm missing something, but I just feel like I haven't been able to see a career in art like ever be truly stable. This really could be a more systemic issue.

Art is beyond more profitable than capitalism is willing to give it credit for. It pisses me the fuck off.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Currently in act 3 of silksong, and I have yet to face a boss that has taken me as many attempts as savage beastfly

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."
