I want to write up a small thread on improvement, some flaws in understanding the game, and what top players are good at (so #compsplatoon )
The main thing I want to get across in this thread is practicality and simplicity, the easier something is the faster it is, and faster is usually better.

I don't think many buffs would be good enough to deal with sblast/slosher pairing rn because of how small they are but I think the best candidate would be a wiper buff. 65 dmg charge slash or like 1 frame faster fire rate would help a bit the kit is great into those weapons imo.

I agree with this statement, I've reached pretty high ranks in other games and splatoon is just really hard. The TTK is insanely fast, mechanics matter here alot than other games, high APM, over 100 variation of maps/weapons, and gear building. At least getting into competitive matches is easy.
something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

Not sure what to do with streaming honestly. I've been having significantly worst wrist pain doing splatoon and haven't found a solution.

Its getting to be about the time to expect a patch (late this month/early next month) and honestly just not sure what I want to see at this point. I think the only obvious target is sblast and if were lucky pencil gets a small nerf too (backlines could open a lot.) That all being said

In today's update SendouQ map list generation was revamped. Key changes:
- can now prefer a mode and submit less than 7 maps or no maps at all
- no more "default maps" if no maps for a mode available, most popular maps according to all users is used
- every preference taken into account

Really happy with the progress this week, getting multiple sets off milky way and a game 5 with ftw is good. But we also felt way more consistent during ladder vs a wide variety of higher level teams. I think were overall playing more to our game plan and we got a month to prep for playoffs.

I found some JP videos showing how reefslider is a dumb special and how you can intentionally desync the rails and slider itself, might be interesting for slider players #compsplatoon
