I’m very tempted to give actual budget a try. Free beats #YNAB price $$$$. If it was just me I would dive head first into this but my wife is now proficient at YNAB and might not like another learning curve.

I’ve already setup a checkmk agent docker container on truenas scale for some proper nas monitoring. Had Claude make me some #homeassistant and #zwavejs local checks. #ridingthataitrain

One of my wifi cameras would randomly drop out. Always attributed it to 💩wifi signal. Turns out it was the microwave. Created a 5ghz only ssid and we’ll see if this resolves the issues.

Frigate is definitely scratching my itch. Added VM to the new proxmox host with iGPU, coral tpu and 1TB hard drive passthru. The #homeassistant blueprint is so dope. Stopped the deepstack container that chewing cpu 🥳.

I’m writing all the frigate VM configs to an ansible playbook. I need a process to back up frigate config.yaml. I might stick it in a gitea repo and commit each time the config changes.
