By promoting and purchasing this game you (yes, YOU) are sponsoring more missiles and drones bombing Ukrainian kindergartens.

Money does not smell, right @hoodedhorse.bsky.social?

Language is a crucial part of identity — that’s why empires always destroy it first. Being able not only to use it but also to see it in the media is vital for small nations. Read the thread about what’s happening now with the only independent Crimean Tatar newspaper in Crimea 👇

You’re not arguing anything, you’re stubbornly refusing to admit that only wind is considered **now**
"The grades [categories] 👉were👈 based on two main factors: objective wind gust speeds sustaining for 2–3 seconds at an elevation of 9.2 meters, and 👉subjective levels of structural damage."👈
Generics discards type information during compilation.

Collections tend to be array backed because it’s faster to traverse an array of pointers than a linked list containing pointers
Probably they did it before the Rainbow Warrior module and didn’t realise which was more important 🤷‍♂️
That’s because no one had bowled underarm in decades *and* the sheer pettiness of it: there was basically zero chance of a Kiwi win but they’d rather define Australians as poor winners than play _cricket_ fairly
You should definitely sue, he’s obviously stealing your trade secrets

I was gonna say, we pay similar prices in off-brand New Zealand cities.

This isn’t even Queenstown mince and toast level expensive.

Or even wilder, he could flat out fucking murder dozens of South American fishermen while the media trips over its own feet wondering if they should even question it.

It is imperative that Congress come back to session to negotiate an end to this government shutdown. Once you hit Nov. 1, the health care crisis will deepen and it will be much harder to fix.

Roddenberry’s mouthless face screams a little more…
If it ushers in practical fusion power then the costs are irrelevant.

If it doesn’t then the US economy has made the largest losing bet in history

…By far
Category # is entirely wind:

“The SSHS was originally created using both wind speed and storm surge, but since the relationship between wind speed and storm surge is not necessarily definite, the scale was changed to the "Saffir–Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale" (SSHWS), based entirely on wind speed.”
There are no CAT 6 hurricanes by definition.

It’s a pretty dumb definition IMO but I’m not a meteorologist

'[Climate change contributing to Hurricane Melissa by] strengthening top wind speed by 10 mph, and increasing potential damages by 50%.'

Environmental changes that sound small can have massive effects when they key cross breakpoints and thresholds.

Hurrican Melissa had a central pressure of 892 millibars (about 88% of sea level) when it made landfall, which is incredible; the lower the pressure the stronger the air is drawn in and the stronger the winds.

So much power.

Here’s @gregsargent.bsky.social today on “pick big fights.” The shutdown was one of those fights, and centering the shutdown debate around lawlessness and healthcare appears to have helped the fight against fascism.

“Leaning into controversy.” Yes.
