Charles Schulz' "Peanuts" defined my early childhood as much as did the British Invasion & comedy. Wildly proud of my dear friend Mark Evanier whose book on the 75-year phenomenon of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy & the rest is getting rave reviews. I must read this book.

KISS's Gene Simmons has been hospitalized after he passed out behind the wheel of his car, leading to a crash, according to NBC4 L.A. The outlet reported that Simmons, 76, told authorities he either passed out or fainted while driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, hitting a parked car on Tues.
