In his aim to turn Washington Post into rotting fish wrap, owner Jeff Bezos next plans to scrap 10% of newsroom employees.

Like any great leader, JB is standing with his employees...from thousands of miles away; he & the Missus are front & center at Paris Fashion Week.

Stop calling this fascist brutality an "immigration crackdown."

There are more than 2 million illegals in Texas; there are approximately. 130,000 in Minnesota.

This is targeted brutality against people living in states Trump lost.

(Reminder: both candidates got votes in every state.)

Yes!

NYT - Judge Orders ICE Chief to Appear in Court Over Potential Contempt...Minnesota judge wrote that unusual order was necessary because “the extent of ICE’s violation of court orders is likewise extraordinary.”

Actually Stephen Miller & Kristi-Nacht deserve a collective nickname.

I suggest: "Frau & Herr Extensions"

"ICE Barbie" is too cute a nickname. She needs one that more fully expresses her true ambitions. I say we call her:

Let's not let them fund the sequel.

Ice Barbie submits to being questioned by Congress abt the brutal & homicidal attack on American citizens, including children & toddlers, by her unconstitutional Gestapo goon squad.

I'm expecting hard-hitting questions like, "What's next for you? Extensions, a full weave or soft caramel lowlights?"

POTUS to reporter: "...if you’re going to write a bad story about my health, I’m going to sue the a-- off of New York Magazine. There will be a time when you can write that story, maybe in 2 years, 3 years, 5 years — five years, no one is going to care, I guess."

Sure sounds like a 100% healthy guy

While I appreciate suggestions of 1-day boycotts, I'm reminded the successful Montgomery Bus Boycott to end segregation on local buses took 381 days from Dec 5, 1955 to Dec 20, 1956. It was impossibly hard for the people who needed transportation. You need that level of commitment to effect change.

George Conway, lifelong GOP now Dem:
This is a criminal president & a criminal administration.
This is straight-out fascism.
This is about ending democracy.
These people are destroying the Constitution.
[This] is not a series of isolated events — it is the core philosophy of the Trump administration

He's going to have to take his Gestapo cosplay back to his basement.

NYT: Gregory Bovino, who became a target of fierce criticism, is set to depart as President Trump moves to deflect anger over a second fatal shooting. Mr. Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, will now direct ICE operations in the state

Something that *completely* erases the line between reality & fiction, stealing (w/out permission, payment or credit) the work of writers, artists, musicians, scientists, visual artists, photographers, scholars & so many more.

What could possibly go wrong?

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

He also criticized two recent federal moves — authorizing officers to enter homes without judicial warrants and cutting off state investigators from accessing evidence of the recent shootings — as unconstitutional.

The U.S. Constitution (particularly the 2nd, 4th, and 14th amendments) prohibit officers from shooting citizens merely for possessing a weapon that is not an “imminent threat”. This was reaffirmed in Graham v Connor, which says force must be reasonable.

I just checked—it turns out that Art. II, Sec. 1 of the Constitution of the United States does *not* say "The executive Power shall be vested in a bunch of sociopaths who think they can do whatever the fuck they want and make shit up as they go along."
