I wrote a Pirate Borg adventure about being trapped for a week in a horrible city ruled by Submarine Sorcerers. It has detailed weird npcs, a calendar of radical events, several locations to explore, and a canal that lets you engage in good ol' boat-based piracy!

Many tried “dice pools as clocks”. IMO many failed.

I’m a senior software engineer by trade so I wrote code to run thousands of simulations to find the best way.

A way were the math is sound and makes sense.

This uses this mechanics and I’ve been testing it for 1+ year at an actual table

Oh interesting! I was unsure of Grimwild's dice pools as clocks before I ran it, but it worked perfectly for both myself as GM and the players. I'm excited to check this one out!

It took 4 years of on-and-off using a dating app to find somebody, but I've been with a girl I met on there for almost 6 years now. It can take a long time, and have bumps along the way, but it can work out!

If you're ever on the west coast and want to do a platonic hobby store date, I'd join you!

Working on just one of these at a time is wild. I do 2 minutes of work and then have to sit for 2+ hours for various things to dry.

Buster Sword from FFVII Remake is coming along nicely though. Almost ready for final paint job (this picture was many stages of the process ago).

A comment on itch reminded me of this idea for creating #TTRPG dungeons I had a while back. I still think its neat and I don't think I've actually shared it here on bsky.

So bsky.. meet Crossword Dungeons!
Do a crossword, use the answers and designs as inspiration for the rooms, get creative!
a how to guide for creating crossword dungeons. Step 1 - Find and Do, do the crossword. Step 2 - See Beyond, find the inspiring words and start to see the shape. Step 3 - Extrapolate, ditch words you dont like, create walls, you contol the dungeon. Step 4 - Draw the rest of the owl (make the dungeon from the inspiration). Step 5 - BE NOT AFRAID. Its just a dungeon created from a crossword, they wont always work. Useful tips: Metro for daily free crosswords. CrosswordSolver, for tricky clues. DungeonScrawl, for making maps. LootTheRoom - for more random ideas

did anyone else know they had communal handsaws? they're in some of the aisles just sitting on random shelves so you can fit pipe into your car and stuff
