May 1945 the Premier of Vic, Mr Dunston, disclosed the particulars of land bought and the approx number of prefab homes to be built by the Housing Commission on various estates. The plan was 99 homes on 20 acres at Hughesdale and 220 on 49 acres at Holmesglen.

I'm a migrant and I felt like a stranger for about 20 years. I was constantly reminded that I was a 'pom', the butt of jokes about soap, beer and pronunciation.

Perhaps that's the reason I'm pro migration.

Also: if you work for ICE, even if you’re not one of the ones arresting citizens or tackling 15-year-olds or zip-tying kids together and segregating them by race, you’re part of the mechanism making it happen, and you should suffer long-term social and post-regime-change consequences.
