These micro companies are ways for the author to get independence and in some cases like Araki, get the rights to their own work, but they're still mostly down to the one man, not a team of multiple people.

They have assistants, sure, but its basically just their own name as a company.

Yes, he did work for Shueisha with V+Jump and a spinoff to Dr Slump, but not as a worker for "Bird Studio". The name Bird Studio is his company name but in practice its mostly Toriyama. Like how LLC is just Araki and Dice Studio was just Kazuki Takahashi.

I can't say the same for Ishinomori ofc, im just saying on average mangakas' studio are just convenient names for their own work. Like how Lucky Land Communications is just Araki's studio name for his own personal work. lol
