Often called the greatest dance routine of all time, this portion is when they head down a series of tall steps by taking turns jumping into a split on each step, the brother jumping going down two steps, over the head of the other. The Nicholas Brothers are young black men in full black tuxedos, and white shirts. At the end they somehow stand up in a reverse split where their knees don't bend, but their feet get closer together, lifting them up. It is amazing.
