It's been a slog, for sure! I've been using the knee scooter this whole time but it really is like dragging an anchor around all day long! I'm paying $100 a month to rent it so I'm returning it in a week and have got to get used to being on the boot! Surprised today that i could really do it though!

Stores could offer a discount to *people who may need extra help right now ifykyk* and hope that people behave with decency and that only people who actually need the extra help will take it.
We'll see. Not confident that this would work in the real world but they could/should try.

It’s absolutely fucked up to use rules meant to protect SNAP beneficiaries (specifically from being discriminated against or singled out in ways which would subject them to humiliation) to ensure SNAP beneficiaries can’t be offered additional help.

It has been so so hard. I live alone on the second floor. My Daughter lives 100 miles away.
My landlord lives downstairs and he has been wonderful, kind and helpful. I'm SO ready to be done with this hell. I can hobble around with a boot & cane now, finally, after 8 weeks!

It has been EIGHT. WHOLE. WEEKS. since i fell while trying to water my orchids & broke TF out of my ankle.
Tonight was the first time since 9/7 that i *kinda sorta* walked around in my house on both of my feet! I have to return the scooter next wk so i have to get used to waking w/boot & cane.

This reminds me of how earlier this year people were gaming out all these procedural ways that you could get Chuck Schumer to step down. People were reading through the caucus rules, etc.

How about just one senator, any senator, just says they think he should step down and stops listening to him?

I know people have argued with me about the specifics for months now but the truth is a lot of people are way overthinking this and if even a small minority of the Congress actually really wanted Trump out of office, he would be out of there in very short order.
