For years, I've always said if I won the lottery or something, I'd basically build a little commune. Get some land, & build a bunch of houses on it, & invite my friends to come & live rent free. If people didn't have to worry about the expense of housing, then they'd focus on more rewarding careers

There are some things GIMP does so right, but there are other things that kinda make me just scratch my head. For shapes, I just do that in Inkscape

Have you played with Krita much? I've been messing with that a lot more. Meant for more painting stuff, but there is a lot of overlap with GIMP too

The economy never returned to pre COVID numbers. Things cost drastically more, and most people have not had any pay increases. Many people actually have had cuts in pay.

You were being respectful so I had no reason to be anything but respectful in return. If we can be civil, we can reach an understanding. That's part of Brianna's issue. The GCs never start off respectful, and others won't be respectful after years of disrespect from her.

This is one thing that I do have some familiarity with, as I have had several attempts on my life, & also have received a ton of death threats in my life. Both the threats and the attempts have given me PTSD

With that, I get being sensitive, but I also understand I can't overreach based on feelings

To me it seemed like pure bluster. Not something to try and get a person fired over, especially when it was nothing related to their job, and definitely not anything worthwhile going to the police about.

Not everyone uses fake names. Some of us use our legal names, whether we were born with them or chose them ourselves. I mean, I could also use the name Helena if you prefer.

Trans women are not men, just like trans men are not women.

Just because some women don't want others who may be different around, doesn't mean that is how everyone feels.

It isn't just a declaration, there's a lot that is done to express who a person really is.

Some discussion needs to be had when the person who decided that something was a threat that obviously wasn't has already contacted the employer of the other person & is publicly contemplating going to the cops

I mean, she's already complained that the person's boss didn't take her seriously enough

This is the problem. People who don't need spaces like these have a distorted view of reality where they think they're far more common than they really are. Since they don't need them, they never notice how many places don't have them, just when they do see them. Your sorries don't fix the problem

Just yesterday I was in a large store owned by a progressive company, & there were no single use restrooms. Just a single disabled stall in the restroom, being used by someone who wanted extra room while they scrolled tiktok. I had to drag myself into another stall since wheelchairs won't fit.

Except there are many people who do have an audience that don't have issues from the community.

You've just expressed opinions that are harmful to the community, while being unaware of why that would make you unpopular. Your wealth shields you from what the rest of us have to face.

As a disabled person, I can tell you from first hand experience that this is not the case in the vast majority of the world, even in progressive cities. I rarely see single use/disabled restrooms. It is almost always just a slightly larger stall in the existing restrooms.
