Blew my mind as a teenager when it got shown to me at a church youth conference. Revisited it around Halloween 2006 for inspiration when building a “Heaven & Hell” themed haunted house, and it held up.

Obviously Diane Keaton was one of the great actors of her generation. But what pops into mind hearing she’s passed is the 1987 documentary she directed called Heaven, which made a huge impact on me in high school and which really held up last I checked in the early 00s. Time to watch again?

East coast vs. West coast punk classics and I gotta go with my geographic roots and vote Nomeansno.

At this moment it’s close, and I hope it can stay that way! Though there’s obviously no shame in losing to such an important release from the great Fugazi.
