#OCtober Day 9: A horror movie character

AU where everything is the same except they’re the Ghostbusters. Also I would like to take this opportunity to establish that the Oakwood Hollow equivalent of Ghostbusters is “Spirit Smashers”

Robin asks, “Do we seriously have to wear these?” Andi replies, “It makes Ben happy.” Robin responds with, “Well… he’s lucky I look good in purple.”

My character Ben looking like he’s about to cause absolute chaos, laughing maniacally and firing his proton blasters into the air. Out of all of my characters, Ben is the biggest horror movie fanatic, and he would be over the moon if he could be a Ghostbuster.

I’d recommend PNGTuber Plus for the software, it lets you layer and animate things pretty similarly to Live 2D but it’s much more simplified

My group of characters from my story, “Oakwood Hollow,” chilling in a cemetery at sunset. Carlos is leaning against a dead tree with his baseball bat, meeting eyes with something in a hole in the tree. Andi and Maya are both sitting with their backs against the tree trunk, with Andi reading a book with a raven on the cover, and Maya playing her ukulele. Robin is looking at a mausoleum in the distance with a cracked angel statue above the entrance, where the door is slightly ajar with someone (or something) peaking outside. Ben and Naomi are studying a tombstone, with Naomi crouched on the ground looking guarded, and Ben leaning down in a more casual manner. The name on the tombstone they’re studying reads, “Xnrts Wthmjxyjw.” Several other tombstones can be seen in the background, with the names being either fictional characters or puns.

Now it’s at a point where, if anything, if I can make it through an intrusive thought without performing a compulsion, I’ll take it as God giving me the strength to not let the thought have power over me. I don’t think I’m super religious anymore these days, but the thought of that feels nice

Ten years ago I would pray several times in a row after having an intrusive blasphemous thought and was constantly terrified that God hated me and I was guaranteed to go to hell
Now I own a pair of planchet earrings and have two OCs who (maybe?) practice witchcraft, by choice

So my regular drawing space has some really nasty mold that I didn’t even know about until something leaked last night🥲 Nothing important was damaged thankfully but God knows how long I’ve been breathing that in and I had to toss a lot of my old art from college that I kept in that corner :(
