Kind of. The only one I ever finished was called "Battle Tower". It was really just a linear dungeon with multiple floors, and each floor was a different fight. You got equipment as you went. It is sadly lost to time.

All the other things I made were more or less demos that never got finished.

Can I take a moment to marvel over Zortch? What an incredibly fun, fast paced shooter. I'm really enjoying the movement mechanics paired with the sheer number of weapon options you get. And all this for $5!? A steal for sure, go check it out!

This was something of a flashpoint moment for me. OCR's music really colored my already rose-tinted view of video games as an art-form. It's silly to consider, but I think my life would have been very different if not for these seemingly random events. So, thanks for everything OCR! ❤️

In there was a midi version of this remix. The person who midified it provided a link to the original on OCR, and the rest is history! I was a kid with no money, a love of video games, and an iPod that needed music. I grabbed the OCR torrent and added everything!

When I was young, I'd make little Zelda fangames (quests) using a program called Zelda Classic. It used midi files for its music, which the community would traditionally find on a site called vgmusic.com. It was a community that made midi versions of video game music.

Funny enough, I have a deep connection to the first mix ever put to the site. Despite being #6, it's the first mix uploaded.

It also happens to be a mix of my first ever RPG from childhood.

It also happens to be one of the worst RPGs ever made.

So much good has come from such a bad game.
